Om 07.00 uur waren wij in kamer 309, de bewoners van 311 sliepen nog, klaarwakker. Onze kamer bood uitzicht op zee en weer konden we daar dolfijnen aanschouwen. Kramp in je nek kreeg je ervan.
Het weer was gelukkig een beetje opgeklaard. De zon scheen niet maar de regen was in ieder geval gestopt. De twee oudjes verzorgden het ontbijt en om 09.30 uur vertrokken we weer uit Daytona op weg naar Kennedy Space Center.
Met een bus werden we langs verschillende platforms gereden, vanwaar in het verleden verschillende raketten zijn gelanceerd. Ook werd ons een 3-D film getoond vanuit een raket. Dat was een schitterende ervaring.
Na dit bezoek gingen we op zoek naar ons hotel voor de komende nacht in Titusville. We sliepen in de kamers 210 en 211. Nadat we de koffers hadden uitgeladen zijn we op zoek gegaan naar een mall. Celeste kon eindelijk iets van haar salaris uitgeven en kocht een sporttas en een t-shirt.
Onderweg kwamen we weer een Publix (onze favoriete supermarkt) tegen en sloegen we allerlei lekkers in wat als diner voor deze avond moest dienen.
Om 23.00 uur was het weer bedtijd.
