Om 08.30 uur naar de ontbijtzaal voor een heerlijk ontbijt en om 09.05 uur klaar staan voor de shuttlebus naar Epcot. Binnen een half uur stonden we dan voor de toegangspoorten van Epcot. Tassen laten controleren en het feest kon beginnen.
Een beetje onwennig liepen we de eerste dag van hot naar her, dit wilden we zien en dat. We liepen van de ene naar de andere kant van het park. Dat moest de andere dagen beslist gestructureerder gebeuren anders hadden we geen zolen meer onder onze schoenen.
Wat een schitterend park. Alles keurig netjes en zeer schoon en goed georganiseerd. We troffen het beslist want van 25 april tot 8 juni was er in Epcot een Flower & Garden festival. Alles was met bloemen versierd, een kleurig geheel. We bezochten Spaceship Earth een attractie in die beroemde grote bol bij de ingang van het park, Wonders of Life.
De meiden en Edwin gingen meerdere keren naar Test Track, waarvan Chris en Marianne van het kijken ernaar al beroerd werden. Ook bezochten we een oude bekende uit Parijs, Honey I shrunk the audience en The Living Seas.
’s Avonds bezochten we de verschillende landen in World Showcase waar we in Marokko echte shoarma aten. Ter afsluiting werd om 21.00 uur een schitterend vuurwerk in de vijver van World Showcase ontstoken, IllumiNations Reflections of Earth. Zo iets moois heb je werkelijk nog nooit gezien.
Om 21.30 uur verlieten we het park naar de parkeerplaats waar de bus ons om 21.45 uur weer zou ophalen voor een ritje naar ons hotel.
