Wat een talent is Ianthe! Ik had in één van haar eerste shows als Glinda al mogen zien, maar dat is al een flinke tijd terug. In de tussentijd heeft Ianthe vaak de rol van van Glinda mogen spelen. Dat ze is gegroeid in de rol is duidelijk zichtbaar. De humor die Ianthe gebruikt tijdens de show is erg leuk en geheel op een eigen manier. Haar zang is zo mooi dat ik elke keer weer kippenvel krijg als zij begint te zingen. Ik hoop dat ik haar snel weer mag zien in deze rol.
Tijdens de show zijn mij een aantal dingen opgevallen. Zo zijn er twee nieuwe castleden: Suzanne de Heij (zij is understudy Elphaba en vervangt Bettina wegens zwangerschapsverlof en heft de track van Myrthe overgenomen) en Michael Macalintal (hij vervangt Michael Nieuwenhuyze die de show heeft verlaten). Suzanne valt wel goed op. Dit omdat ze lang is, maar ook omdat ze uitbundige bewegingen maakt (die naar mijn idee te overdreven zijn). Ook Michael M. valt op. Hij heeft namelijk een steviger postuur en vooral wat boller gezicht dan Michael N. Vooral om het moment dat Michael in het pak van Moq zit is het verschil met Niels naar mijn inzicht te groot.
Myrthe heeft de track van Bettina overgenomen waardoor zij nu meer zichtbaar is. Dit vind ik erg fijn.
Voor de rest zijn mij niet heel veel speciale dingen opgevallen. Behalve dat Professor Dillamond tegen Manon zegt in de les “Gaat het, juffrouw Fanny?”.
