De reden dat ik naar Londen ben gegaan is de musical Ghost. In februari jl. heb ik deze musical voor het eerst gezien en ik was verkocht.
De plannen waren er om de musical naar Nederland te halen, maar net voor de start van de repetities heeft Stage Entertainment de musical gecancelled. Over een aantal dagen zal de musical in Londen ook stoppen. Beide gebeurtenissen gaven mij de doorslag om naar Londen te gaan en Ghost nog éénmaal te bezoeken.
De musical Ghost is fantastisch. Het verhaal is heel erg mooi, de zang is prachtig en de visual effects zijn heel bizar. De twee hoofdrolspelers Mark Evans en Siobhan Dillon in de rollen van Sam en Molly zijn beide geweldig. Hun hele lichaamshouding doet je met hun meeleven.
Sharon D Clarke, als Oda Mae Brown, brengt zeer leuke humor mee aan het stuk.
Nadat ik deze show heb gezien baal ik nog meer dat hij niet in Nederland te zien zal zijn.
