Afgelopen weekend was het weer tijd voor het jaarlijkse vriendenweekend. Dit jaar was de organisatie in handen van Bas. Redelijk snel was er een datum gevonden waarop iedereen beschikbaar was en kon Bas op zoek naar een geschikt huis waar wij met z’n alle in konden.
Na enkele opties hebben we gekozen voor een huis in de Belgische Ardennen. De voorbereidingen konden van start. Na ja, die waren niet echt nodig. Behalve het opzetten van een groepswhatsapp. Deze heb ik, nadat deze werd gebruikt voor gekke foto’s, voor dat het weekend aangebroken was, verlaten.
Vrijdagochtend vertrokken we voor een lunch naar Maastricht. Een groot deel van de groep kwam naar het Vrijthof. We zijn het weekend begonnen.
Tijdens het weekend hebben we lekker veel gegeten en gedronken, gekletst en gelachen. Maar dit is ook het weekend van de sportieve activiteiten. De eerste keer dat ik tijdens een vriendenweekend meer dan 1.ooo calorieën heb verbrand. Zo zijn we zaterdag met een groep wezen mountainbiken. Wat een heftige uurtjes waren dat. De meeste van ons zijn toch minder sportief dan we van ons zelf dachten en trokken de Belgische heuvels niet zo goed.
Zondag hebben we een lekkere wandeling gemaakt die door enkele heuvels ook best heftig waren.
Na drie gezellige dagen is er weer een einde gekomen aan het vriendenweekend. Op naar volgend jaar!!
