Na een fijne nachtrust wordt het ontbijt geserveerd op onze veranda. Zo leuk!ย
Vandaag gaan we snorkelen. Al snel blijkt dat er leuke visjes zwemmen, maar de diversiteit niet aanwezig is. Dus we wisselen luieren, snorkelen, eten en drinken met elkaar af.
Na de lunch gaan we terug naar het hotel waar we nog even een duik nemen in het zwembad. Hierdoor kunnen we net iets frisser ons in de kleren hijsen voor de overtocht naar Bali. Helaas gaan we Gili vandaag alweer verlaten.
De terugtocht met de fastboat ging niet van harte. Door een wat wildere zee was de boot ook iets wilder. Na een kwartier wegzweten, deze had helaas geen airco, en een wat onaangenaam gevoel, besloot ik de rest van de tijd mij te concentreren op de horizon.
Aangekomen op Bali gaat onze tour verder. De volgende stop ik Kuta. Dit schijnt het toeristische gedeelte van Bali te zijn: klopt!!! Wat een gigantisch verschil is dit stuk Bali met de rest wat wij hebben gezien. In Kuta is alles heel westers. Ben blij dat we hier als laatste naar toe zijn gegaan en ook niet heel lang blijven.
Omdat we laat in ons hotel aankomen, veroorzaakt door de lange bustocht en de vervelende zoektocht naar het hotel, besluiten we een snelle hap te halen bij de Mac. Na de burgers lopen we even snel door het grote en moderne winkelcentrum om een ijsje te halen bij Hรคagen-dasz.
Na het toetje duiken we de hotelkamer in en gaan op tijd slapen.
