We beginnen deze dag eindelijk eens zonder wekker. Ook wel eens lekker zo in de vakantie. Eerst een lekker ontbijtje en daarna op naar het strand.
Alies gaat voor de eerste keer golven ervaren. Na de eerste golf die in haar gezicht komen wachten Edwin en ik in spanning af tot ze een gil geeft, maar het enige wat er komt is een glimlach. Zelfs na de tweede, derde en tiende golf blijft Alies het leuk vinden. Zij blij, wij blij.
Na het stoeien met de golven is het tijd om even bij te komen op een strandbedje. Tja, vakantie is best zwaar.
We lunchen lekker makkelijk bij het hotel en duiken daarna het zwembad in. De temperatuur is namelijk inmiddels gestegen tot een kookpunt en het zeewater kookt bijna mee. Het zwembad geeft echt verkoeling.
De rest van de middag verblijven wij even uit de warmte en zoeken verkoeling en plezier in de bungalow. Lang leve de airco.
Aan het eind van de middag wandelen we naar het centrum om een hapje te eten. Daarna even een kijkje nemen op de night market. Wat een troep verkopen ze daar. Lekker wandelend terug naar de bungalow en tijd voor Alies om te slapen, zodat Edwin en ik nog even kunnen relaxen op de veranda.
Dit noem ik dus een relaxte dag en snap ik weer waarom ik dit geen twee weken vol kan houden..
