De dag begint heerlijk zonder wekker. Na het ontbijt gaan we eerst lekker zwemmen.
Om 11u worden we met de taxi naar Chiang Mai gebracht. We gaan fietsen!
De tocht duurt ruim vier uur. We gaan langs tempels, fruitkwekerijen, bakkerijen, pottenbakkers, rijstvelden. Heel leuk allemaal, maar echt niet normaal heet. Na een kleine 4 uur zijn we er met zโn drieรซn ook echt klaar mee en vragen de gids terug te gaan.
Helaas hebben we tijdens de tocht niet het centrum van Chiang Mai aangedaan, dus besluiten we met de taxi naar het centrum te gaan om toch wat mee te krijgen van het centrum. We wandelen wat en gaan op zoek naar een leuk restaurant.
Eenmaal bij een restaurant aangekomen is het tijd voor Alies om een show weg te geven. Serieus tien man personeel staat te staren hoe Alies haar schnitzel naar binnen schuift. Ga werken en laat mijn kind lekker eten!
Na het diner gaan we nog naar de night market en eten we een ijsje bij Haรคgen-Dazs. Een taxi brengt ons laat op de avond weer naar ons resort. Alies valt tijdens de rit natuurlijk in slaap. Aangekomen in onze villa toch maar even allemaal onder douch. We zitten namelijk nog flink onder het zweet.
Daarna weer lekker slapen.
