Vandaag worden we weer gewekt door de wekker. We gaan namelijk verder reizen naar onze volgende bestemming: Phuket. Hiervoor moeten we vliegen.
Na het ontbijt worden we om 8u opgehaald door een taxi die ons naar het vliegveld van Chiang Rai brengt. We vliegen eerst een uurtje naar Bangkok. De vlucht gaat lekker snel voorbij.
In Bangkok hoeven we ons geen zorgen te maken over de bagage, dus hebben wel eventjes de tijd om een lunch te halen. Deze eten we rustig bij de gate op en kunnen daarna weer het volgende vliegtuig. Wederom maar een uurtje vliegen.
Eenmaal aangekomen in Phuket halen we de bagage op en regelen we een taxi naar het hotel. Ook dit neemt weer een uurtje in beslag.
Eindelijk kunnen we zwemmen. Na het zwemmen even slapen om daarna naar het centrum te gaan om te dineren.
Wat is het hier vreselijk! We zitten op Patong Beach en het is het gigantisch toeristisch. Veel Britse toeristen en Thaise masseurs. Vieze combinatie.
Nadat we heerlijk gegeten hebben lopen we nog wat rond in de shopping mall, om de avond af te sluiten met een ijsje bij Häagen-dasz. Daarna lopen we naar ons hotel om op de kamer te chillen en te slapen.
Morgenochtend hopelijk lekker uitslapen.
