Afgelopen vrijdag was het zo ver: lintjesregen 2011!
Naast vele bekende en onbekende Nederlanders mocht dit jaar een voor mij speciaal iemand een lintje in ontvangst nemen: m’n oma!
Met de leugen dat ik zou afstuderen hebben we oma naar de Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam gelokt.
Op het moment dat oma en opa in de zaal apart werden neergezet, wij als aanwezige familie achter in de zaal plaats moesten nemen en voor in de zaal een groot bord met lintjes stond, ging er bij oma een lichtje branden.
Toen was het moment daar: oma werd door de burgemeester naar voren geroepen. Hoe trots ben je dan als kleinkind. Met een camera in de hand en een brede lach op mijn gezicht luisterde ik naar het verhaal van de burgemeester.
M’n oma is benoemd tot lid in de Orde van Oranje Nassau vanwege het feit dat zij al ruim 15 jaar vrijwilligers werk verricht in het bejaardentehuis.
Oma, nogmaals gefeliciteerd!!
