Ik moet toegeven dat de voorbereidingen nog steeds in volle gang zijn, maar we zijn al zeker beter voorbereid dan vorig jaar. De bestemming ligt al ruim een jaar vast. Nadat we vorig jaar een iets mindere vakantiebestemming hebben gehad heb ik meteen besloten dat we in 2011 weer naar Amerika zouden gaan.
We gaan dit jaar een rondreis maken in Amerika. Om precies te zijn: de westkust. Op de terugweg naar huis pakken wij nog een paar dagen New York mee. Dit wilde ik heel graag. Enerzijds omdat het een geweldige stad is, maar anderzijds ook omdat (jawel daar komt ‘ie dan…) daar hele mooie musicals te zien zijn.
Momenteel zijn wij druk bezig met het boeken van de hotels en het daadwerkelijk uitstippelen van de routes die we moeten gaan rijden.
Zondag om 9.50u vliegen wij (met een gelukkig rechtstreekse vlucht) naar Los Angeles. Vanaf daar zullen wij de reis voortzetten met de auto.
Als alles gaat zoals gepland hebben wij in elk hotel internetverbinding, dus ik probeer jullie dagelijks bij te bloggen wat ons is overkomen (uiteraard voorzien van gezellige foto’s).
