Wat spannend: vanavond ga ik weer naar Wicked. Vorig jaar heb ik deze musical ook al mogen zien op Broadway. Omdat Wicked vanaf eind oktober in Nederland te zien zal zijn, wil ik toch nog heel graag de Broadway versie nog een keer zien. Want als ik eenmaal in de flow van de Nederlandse versie zit, hoef ik geen andere meer te zien.
Bij binnenkomst in de zaal ben ik al weer blij. Het decor is al geweldig om te zien, ondanks dat het doek nog naar beneden is. Gedurende de show laat deze musical een tal van mooie decors zien.
Naast het decor is ook de muziek onwijs mooi. Deze kende is uiteraard al, omdat ik de cd al grijs heb gedraaid in de auto. Maar live blijft toch veel mooier.
Het meest bijzondere aan deze show vind ik de kostuums: geen twee mensen dragen dezelfde outfit. Hierdoor kijk je echt je ogen uit.
Alle acteurs zijn hier van top niveau. Van geen enkele acteur kan ik zeggen dat ‘ie niet goed was. Maar ik had ook niet anders verwacht in een Broadwayprodctie.
