Tijdens de perspresentatie van Bernarda Alba spraken wij met Lisa Berendse. Lisa zegt heel erg blij te worden dat we weer in het theater M-Lab aan het werk mag. “Het is een sprankeling”.
“Het is gewoon super leuk om hier weer te spelen en dan ook nog weer twee avonden.” Het vorige project waar Lisa in te zien was, is Spring Awakening. Voor een M-Lab productie was dat erg lang (ongeveer drie weken). “Bernarda Alba is heel anders. Hele andere mensen, hele andere insteek. Een heel andere voorstelling.”
Tijdens de perspresentatie krijgen wij een voorproefje van het stuk. Hierin was te zien dat de spelers geheel in het zwart gekleed zijn. “Er zitten ook wel hele blijde stukjes is. Je zit niet de hele avond heel depressief in de zaal” Volgens Lisa is het verhaal wel redelijk heftig, maar door de Spaanse invloeden wordt het wel heel leuk.”
Lisa speelt in dit stuk de meid. “Ik ben een bediende van Bernarda Alba en haar dochters. Ik ben de jongste meid.” Volgens Lisa is de rol van de huishouding heel erg leuk aangezien zij al weten wat er in het hele huis van Bernarda Alba gebeurt en waar het naar toe gaat.
Volgens Lisa moet iedereen naar dit stuk komen kijken omdat het gegarandeerd staat voor een mooie avond waarin je van de ene kant naar de andere kant gegooid wordt. “De muziek is erg mooi en het verhaal is stevig. Het is een hele bijzondere groep bij elkaar en je steunt een goed doel.”
